The company are a leading designer and manufacturer of a cutting-edge range of equipment, used in growing markets such as the electric car market. Due to a record end to 2020, they need assistance to build their high-precision scientific instruments and fulfil demand. 

The Role: Electronics Production Technician

  • Solder and assemble through hole PCBs that require high precision and high quality
  • To be able to perform wire soldering
  • Inspect and facilitate necessary repairs on PCBs and wiring
  • To monitor, maintain, and repair the equipment as per the requirements and to support good team work by constantly keeping in touch with production manager

 

The Candidate: Production Technician

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • BTEC or equivalent in Electronics Engineering
  • Strong wiring skills (wiring looms, cable harnesses, crimping, striping etc)
  • Ability to copy from samples and to work from drawings or parts lists
  • Ability to understand and follow standard operational procedures
  • High electronics aptitude
  • Ability to operate soldering equipment, use basic hand tools

 

To be commutable to the office you could live in or near one of the following locations: Woburn, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Newport Pagnell, Olney, Bedford, Northampton, Aylesbury
