Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will maintain plant, equipment, utilities, and buildings. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and the wider Maintenance team, as well as developing contacts across the site. You will be expected to work independently within well-established and defined procedures under a limited degree of supervision.
This is not a shift working role but you will be required to take part in the on call rota. This is a full time and permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
• To conduct routine planned maintenance on time and report any defects
• To produce detailed job records (write-ups) for all tasks performed and to maintain and update electronic and paper equipment records
• To assist in the training of Apprentice's in areas where you are identified as the subject matter expert (SME)
• Ensure that all mechanical systems are safe and compliant to operate, to perform and review risk assessments as required
• Ensure that any repairs or maintenance activities are performed to company procedures and meet company and statutory standards

About You
To excel in this role you will need to have:
Essential requirements:
• Previous manufacturing maintenance experience in a similar industry and environment
• City & Guilds/NVQ certificate or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
Desirable requirements:
Electrical or instrumentation experience and skills

• Maintenance on process equipment and facilities, and day to day maintenance support, will work on site aitr, water, lan equipment and production equipment - need a multitasker!
• Days only role - no shift work and no shift allowance, 8-4 Monday to Friday
