International Mobility Analyst

One of our financial services clients has an exciting opportunity for a Senior International Mobility Analyst.

Overall Job Purpose
The UK International Mobility team (UKIM) sits within the Reward team in HR and is responsible for managing the lifecycle of expatriate assignments into and out of London branch, as well as movement within Group functions. The team liaises with various external providers and also other international mobility teams around the globe.
UKIM also oversees immigration into the UK for all the client's contracted populations, whether joining on a permanent basis, visiting for a day or anything in between. The team works across all business lines and works closely with other HR teams, as well as being a point of reference for other UK entities.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage a population of internationally mobile assignees: running package calculations, overseeing the relocation processes, assignee briefings, document production and maintenance, processing payroll set up etc.
• Ensure the client remains compliant with UK Immigration regulations: checking RLMT screenshots, monitoring business visitors, providing internal training sessions, visa expiry tracking etc.
• Respond to queries (both expat and immigration related) from the business and HR community in a timely manner with sufficient detail and advice
• Assist with various annual processes including (but not limited to) tax compliance (P11d, App 7b), CRP, ERP
• Assist with documentation and streamlining of existing processes
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements (tax, immigration, social security, financial regulators) as well as audit compliance
• Assist with various ad hoc projects

Skills & Experience Required
• Minimum 3 years' previous experience within international mobility
• Strong knowledge of UK immigration law and processes
• Technical knowledge of expat tax, social security
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the individual will be dealing with both internal clients and external providers
• Strong focus on client service delivery and relationship management
• Pro-active, with an ability to identify process improvements and drive change
• Flexible, with a "can do" attitude
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Good attention to detail
• Previous experience in a large corporate organisation preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Excel. Working knowledge of Outlook and Word. Knowledge of PeopleSoft and SharePoint an advantage.
