Our client is an international service provider to the Oil & Gas industry who specialise in asset integrity for their clients. This role will focus upon the assets of a variety of the Operators in the North Sea.
Job Specific Duties:
Developing structural inspection workscopes in accordance with RBI inspection schedule and classification requirements across multiple assets.
Involvement under guidance from senior engineers with marine assurance activities to include;
Environmental and position monitoring
Mooring systems and ROV inspection
Stability and weight control
Operational risk assessments
Marine equipment assurance activities
Engaging with Class society and operations teams
Update of SIMS documentation
Involvement under guidance from senior engineers with structural assurance activities to include;
Structural integrity assessments
Dropped object reviews
The successful candidate will have an Engineering degree in Naval Architecture or Structural Engineering with experience working within structural integrity of fixed or floating assets. Candidates will be familiar with classification rules for inspection, structural RBI systems, NDE techniques and their application and repair techniques. We are looking for candidates who have the ability to write technical documents and can work in a team with good communication skills.
