Business Development Manager

My client is a market leading designer and manufacturer of a range of technical engineering equipment used in construction. This is a fantastic opportunity for any field sales professional who enjoys selling a technical solution. My client are an expanded business who are looking to add more branches throughout 2020.

You can be home based but need to be commutable to their office for weekly meetings. Initially your main territory focus will be the South but you will be expected to travel across the UK to visit client sites. You will be rewarded with a fantastic bonus scheme for generating new sales orders so you must be driven and hungry to bring in new customers. On average you could be looking at earning between £500 and £1000 per month on top of your basic salary.

The Role: Business Development Manager

  • Generate new business across your territory through cold calling and face to face visits
  • Make recommendations on the company’s maintenance contract offerings
  • Develop existing accounts and build client relationships

The Candidate: Business Development Manager

The successful candidate MUST have experience in selling maintenance services into the construction industry. You will also have:

  • Clear communication skills and ability to build rapport
  • Tenacious, determined and proactive
  • Willingness to travel

To be commutable to the office you could live in or near one of the following locations: anywhere within the M25, South Hertfordshire, South Buckinghamshire including Watford, Wembley, Croydon, Epsom, Enfield, Hatfield, St Albans.
