Operating as First Technical (Ghana) Limited has provided us with a greater understanding of the needs of companies such as the Ghana-based Tullow Oil. From an in-country base, we are able to provide a higher level of service: a need we have uncovered in common with other companies in Africa. Now, our business relationships in Africa continue to grow along with the expertise we have gained over the last 5 years.

This gives First Technical (Ghana) Limited an advantage over other companies with little or no local employees. As a consequence, First Technical (Ghana) is meeting the provisions of the Local Content Act which aims to give Ghanaian companies first consideration on vacancies in the petroleum industry – a legally binding bill enforced by the Petroleum Commission.
