First Recruitment Group Awarded Contract for Trans-Adriatic Pipeline Project

After winning the contract to recruit skilled professionals for the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) Project though tender process back in September, we have been busy working to fill the roles with great success, already placing contractors in Albania.

We have recently opened an office in Albania, First Technical Albania Shpk, to best serve both our clients as well as the contractors being placed in-country, helping with work / resident permits and mobilisation. We have over 18 years working in the Oil & Gas industry on an international scale, and this is the next step in the exciting expansion of our global foot print.

Our dedicated Oil & Gas division is therefore looking for skilled professionals for the roles below to mobilise as soon as possible.

Quality Managers – Italy, Albania & Greece
Health & Safety Managers and Advisors – Albania & Greece
Site Representatives – Italy & Albania
Project Engineers – Greece & Albania
Occupational Health Specialists – Greece
Cost Engineers – Greece
Document Controllers – Greece
Contracts Administrator – Italy
Risk Engineers - Italy, Albania & Greece
AUT Specialists, Site based Inspectors and Engineers will also be required early 2016

The Trans Adriatic Pipeline will transport Caspian natural gas from the giant Shah Deniz II field to Europe. This project will open the so-called Southern Gas Corridor, enhancing Europe’s energy security by contributing to the diversification of the gas supplies.

The construction of the pipeline, and its related facilities, is taking place in stages, with the actual intense construction along the pipeline Right-of-Way taking place over a period of 3 to 6 months. However, overall access to land will be required for a longer period, and could actually last between 12 and 24 months, inclusive of the intense construction periods. Once built, the onshore pipeline will be buried at least one metre beneath the ground and therefore not visible for the entire route.
