SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

BASINGSTOKE- FULLY REMOTE

INITIAL 12 MONTH CONTRACT

OIL & GAS SECTOR

A Senior Electrical Engineer is required to work on a 12 month contract, fully remote, the role will allow the successful candidate to work from home permanently.

A Senior Electrical Engineer is required as part of a Project Team
being established in Basingstoke, UK to support an engineering
project for development of new CCS facilities in the UK.

The main responsibilities are:
- As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will lead Feasibility and FEED project phases, coordinating
electrical activities
- As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will prepare/ review Feasibility and FEED Electrical documentation.
- You will need to support the Cost Estimating Team in your role as a Senior Electrical Engineer role

Qualifications-

Essential knowledge and experience:
• To be successfull in your role as a Senior Electrical Engineer you should have significant experience of technical and team leadership within a project environment working in the Energy Sector Industry either as a Contractor or Company Personnel.
- You should also be technically competent in all aspects of electrical engineering.
- Experience in Concept, Basic/FEED and/or Detail Engineering projects for the Energy Sector (on-shore and/ off-shore).
- Experience in review of power system studies and specifications; design of power distribution systems for electrical networks; electrical equipment specifications/datasheets; substation, switch room and plant
layout design; preparation of requisitions for electricalequipment; appraisal of Vendor bids for electrical equipment/EPC Bids is nesseccary for the role as a Senior Electrical Engineer

- Fully conversant with IEC standards and Energy Sector standard practices (e.g. IOGP specifications/ forms). Desirable knowledge and experience:MV Submarine Cables designInterconnection to UK National Grid
