Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Remote
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000
Scope:
As a Structural Engineer, you will lead the production of Telecom site designs, ensuring quality, safety, and operational success. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your role involves delivering cost-effective solutions within set timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Management:
- Own and sign-off on Planning Drawings, Detailed Designs, and variations.
- Conduct feasibility surveys and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Client and Supplier Management:
- Understand client design scope and collaborate for site-specific solutions.
- Optimize resource utilization and promote hardware/material re-use for cost reduction.
Systems and Data:
- Utilise forecasting tools,
- formulate project reports.
- Maintain the company database and adhere to client reporting suites.
Finance and Compliance:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform final QA for all drawing productions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in designing structural components for telecom site deployment.
- Formal program management experience in a technology industry.
- Ability to quality-check Computer Aided Design Drawings.
- Familiarity with Health and Safety and Construction Design Management Regulations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, organizational, and communication skills.
