Are you a Mechanical Services Engineer ready to lead and innovate? My client are a distinguished design and engineering consultancy, they’re on the lookout for Mechanical Building Services Engineers at both Senior and Principal level to join their team on a permanent staff basis. This role would be 1 day per week in their offices and the rest from home, initially you would be required to be more office based just to settle into the building services team.
The Role: Mechanical Building Services Engineer
- Exposure to work in exciting sectors like Nuclear, Life Sciences, Defence, Pharmaceutical and Aviation.
- Work in all aspects of the project lifecycle from definition and feasibility, to detailed design and site monitoring.
- Understand the processes and equipment to deliver a client’s strategy for growth.
- Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality output on projects.
- Support the associates in the day-to-day management of the local Mechanical Services team.
- Collaborate in a supportive environment and tap into their extensive professional network.
- Work on diverse and challenging projects that test and maximise efficiencies sustainably.
Key Requirements: Mechanical Building Services Engineer
- Passionate professional in delivering top-notch Mechanical services designs in the built environment, this also includes HVAC & Public Health.
- Thrive on taking ownership, being innovative, and exceeding client satisfaction.
- Proven leadership experience in medium to large-scale project delivery and effective team management of small teams from graduate level to senior level engineers.
- Experienced contributing to bids, proposals and tender specifications.
- Hold a relevant degree and on the path to chartered status or already chartered.
- Eligible for security clearance and airside pass applications.
- Engineering experience in a technical sector.
