Principal Structural Analysis Engineer (Offshore Wind Foundation Projects)

Mission: As the Principal Structural Analysis Engineer, your primary mission is to conduct comprehensive structural analyses adhering to standards and industry codes for offshore wind foundation projects. This includes reviewing, commenting on, and approving structural drawings, preparing detailed design reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analyses in compliance with standards and industry regulations (DNV GL, API, AISC, EC, Norsok) for offshore wind foundation projects.
  • Review, comment on, and approve structural drawings based on engineering designs.
  • Prepare high-quality design reports and maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental operating procedures.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in adherence to policies on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.Eng, M.Eng, M.Sc) in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in the offshore energy industry with a track record of delivering high-quality structural engineering solutions.
  • Proficiency in applying engineering principles to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team.
  • Strong command of written and verbal English.

Software Proficiency:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and hand calculations for engineering analysis.
  • Experience with SACS software for structural analysis and design.
