Section Engineer - 3 Month intial contract - based in Woking
Our Client has a requirement for Section Engineer, who will be required to work on a Contract basis in Woking.
Location: Woking, A3 Nutberry Fruit Farm
Contract: 3 Months initial contract
IR35 Status: inside ir35
Required: 5 days per week on site
Hours: 50 hours per week
Project is highways they will be looking after the earthworks side of things
The role will focus on the technical and supervisory aspects of ground-related operations. In this context, they would:
- Set out and manage excavation, filling, and grading operations.
- Ensure works follow design levels, slopes, and compaction requirements.
- Coordinate plant, materials, and haul routes to keep progress efficient.
- Oversee testing (e.g. compaction tests, CBR tests).
- Maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance (e.g. dust, drainage, stability).
- Work closely with geotechnical engineers, planners, and foremen.
