Our client a well known Engineering company are activley looking to recruit 5 EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Advisors to be based in the UK working on a 2 week rotation.

Job Title: EHS Advisor/Analyst (Environment Health & Safety) Advisor/Analyst
Location: United Kingdom
Duration: 3 Months
Rate: Competitive Day Rate - Outside IR35
2 Week Rotational Basis.

The EHS Advisor is responsible for supporting and promoting a strong Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) culture at the marshalling harbour for a offshore renewable energy project. The role ensures safe working practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental performance in line with company and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary EHS focal point, providing advice and support to supervisors, technicians.
• Ensure compliance with GWO standards, client HSE requirements, and relevant wind industry best practices.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and safety walks to identify and mitigate risks.
• Facilitate and review Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Toolbox Talks.
• Lead and support incident/near miss reporting, investigation, and follow-up actions.
• Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, spill prevention, and energy use.
• Deliver safety inductions, briefings, and refresher sessions for all offshore personnel.
• Coordinate emergency drills and ensure compliance with client and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare EHS reports for the Project HSE Manager.
• Drive a proactive safety culture through coaching, engagement, and visible leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Valid GWO certification package (Working at Heights, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, First Aid, Sea Survival).
• Demonstrated offshore EHS experience, ideally within offshore wind or renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of offshore wind safety standards, guidelines, and best practice (e.g., G+, IMCA, client requirements).
• Strong background in risk management, inspections, and incident investigation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong reporting and IT skills (MS Office, incident management systems).
