Role
Keep Complex Infrastructure Projects Running Smoothly - Join a High-Profile Defence Environment as a Project Support Officer.
Our Client has a requirement for a Project Support Officer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Devonport.
Role Purpose:
Support the administration and governance of infrastructure projects within a complex, highly regulated environment.
Provide administrative support to project teams through the use of robust governance frameworks, management tools and processes.
Assist with the development and maintenance of project outputs, documentation and reporting activities.
Support stakeholder engagement and project coordination across multiple workstreams.
Act as secretary for governance meetings and ensure actions, risks and issues are effectively tracked and managed.
Job Role Responsibilities:
Support the alignment of strategic objectives with infrastructure plans and wider delivery programmes.
Provide administrative support in the development and ongoing management of project outputs.
Support the delivery of project objectives to programme, cost and timescale requirements.
Arrange governance meetings, prepare agendas and presentation packs, and produce meeting minutes.
Monitor and track actions arising from governance meetings.
Maintain project logs, trackers, forward action plans, risk registers and issue registers.
Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery.
Ensure project documentation is accurately maintained, stored and communicated.
Support the management team with project administration and coordination activities.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft O365.
Strong administration and governance experience.
Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills.
Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organised with the ability to work independently and proactively.
Experience supporting projects within a structured governance environment.
Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, Security Check (SC) Clearance.
Must be a sole UK national.
