We're currently supporting a leading engineering and construction organisation delivering a landmark energy infrastructure project in Poland. This is a rare opportunity to join a programme that will play a significant role in strengthening the country's long-term energy future.

 

We are seeking an experienced Field Construction Planner to support the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) phase of a major project based in Lubiatowo, Poland, working on a 10 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational basis.

 

 

 

The Role

 

The Field Construction Planner will lead planning and scheduling activities throughout the EPC phase, ensuring effective schedule development, maintenance, progress monitoring, impact analysis and recovery planning.

 

This position requires a highly capable planning professional with extensive experience working on large-scale EPC projects, ideally within the nuclear sector or other highly regulated industries.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead schedule development, analysis, reporting and improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and communicate key project milestones.
  • Review scheduled activities to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Monitor schedule performance and identify risks, delays and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate planning activities across engineering, procurement and construction functions.
  • Develop recovery plans and recommend corrective actions where required.
  • Review resource loading, levelling and commodity release schedules.
  • Ensure procurement activities are fully integrated into project schedules.
  • Analyse critical path activities and identify schedule constraints.
  • Support forecasting, planning studies and project performance reviews.
  • Interface with project controls, engineering, procurement and construction teams.
  • Prepare schedule narratives and monthly progress reporting.
  • Review subcontractor schedules and monitor schedule compliance.

 

 

Candidate Requirements

 

  • Polish Citizenship is essential.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant planning and scheduling experience, or 12 years' experience without a degree.
  • Previous experience supporting large-scale construction projects in a field environment.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening, background checks and applicable security clearance requirements.
  • Eligibility to obtain site access authorisations within a highly regulated project environment.

 

 

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Extensive experience preparing, monitoring and reporting project schedules within EPC environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong planning, organisational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide planning expertise with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting schedule data and performance information to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction execution practices.

 

 

 

Highly Desirable

 

  • Nuclear power experience, particularly on new-build or first-of-a-kind projects.
  • Experience supporting nuclear development, permitting, engineering or procurement activities.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodologies.
  • Experience using Power BI, Synchro 4D and Acumen Fuse.
