Job Responsibilities as an Expertise Pipeline Design Engineering:
• Performing various pipeline design tasks including preliminary design checks to detailed analyses as required.
• Performing pipeline detailed design analyses (by FEA)
• Providing support to procurement activities for the scope in ownership: preparation of Scope Of Work, MTOs, review and follow-up of supplier offers and technical deliverables
• Prepare and participate to peer/design reviews with Client
• Identify technology gaps, prepare and follow-up of qualification plans for new product as applicable
• Manage internal interfaces with other disciplines/ group entities in relation with the scope
• The engineer will be mobilized into Rigid Pipeline discipline in GPC Paris and will report to the lead engineer for activities on project.

Experience needed for a Expertise Pipeline Design Engineering:
• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience with offshore pipe design, heat-trace experience is a plus.
• Good practice of Finite Element Analyses and Abaqus software
• Familiar with major pipeline design codes and standards (API, DNV)
• Ability to add technical value to EHTF pipeline design & optimization proposals Ability to use Mathcad and/or Excel calculation facility to create and check calculations
• Ability to perform and write technical reports (in English)
