Windows Server & Software Engineer Jobs

As previously mentioned, Microsoft Windows counts for 30% of data centre operating systems. This, however, is only a fraction of what Microsoft have to offer. The most common application of Microsoft Windows is the ‘Windows Server’; the name given to a series of operating systems released between 2003 and the current day.

Other knowledge areas that a job using Windows may call for include ‘Wintel’. A portmanteau of ‘Windows’ and ‘Intel’, Wintel is the name given to personal computers using Intel x86-compatible processors running Microsoft Windows.
