What you put in, is what you get out: Salary benefits

  • Negotiable dependent on experience plus a lucrative, realistic, and achievable commission scheme.
  • UNCAPPED commission, with typical earnings of £4,500-6,000 per quarter in your first year, depending on experience. Equating to possibly meeting a commission take home £24,000 per annum in the first two years on top of your basic salary!  
  • A bonus scheme paid twice yearly for demonstrating company core values and meeting our company wide bonus target, earning up to £1,750 per annum.

Total expected earnings: £60,750 per annum (uncapped), meaning you can build on this as you build your career with us.

First Recruitment Group (Birchwood, Warrington) has seen extraordinary growth since establishing itself in 1997. We are a global company with teams across the UK and internationally. We operate across Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Chemicals, Water, Aerospace & Defence, and most recently, the IT sector.

First Recruitment Group is made up of four well-established business streams: First Technical, Talascend, Primis, and Operam. In these teams, encompass our Recruitment Consultants from Trainee Recruitment Consultants right through to highly experienced Recruitment Consultants. 

The role of a Senior Recruitment Consultant

  • Working with some of the UK & Europe’s most reputable clients across Nuclear, Engineering, Utilities, and Oil & Gas.
  • Providing a service to our clients & candidates, streamlining recruitment cycles and showing passion in your role.
  • Being agile across both contract and permanent vacancies to broaden and utilise your existing skillset.
  • CV screening, Job board posting and reviewing, Boolean searching and Interview prepping.
  • You will have the opportunity to join our career pathway programme to develop your career further with us, whether that be in Delivery, Account Management or Business Development.

  • In this role you will be given a variety of options to match your skills, experience and potential to succeed. An opportunity to account manage, business develop or lead on large recruitment projects will be in your next steps to success!

What Experience Is Required?

• We expect a minimum of 3 years of recruitment (or business development) experience. This can be 180 or 360, depending on your current role and sector.

• We look for people who are not just money-motivated but want a sustainable, long-term, and exciting career where they are acknowledged and rewarded for their talent.

• A passion for working with people, not just externally, and displaying values similar to our core values, ensuring collaboration, honesty, reliability, and passionate individuals.

• A team player who can also work independently during busier periods.
