Role

Our Client has a requirement for an Electrical Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Surrey.

 

Role Purpose:

Principal Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience of designing large industrial power systems including high voltage systems.

 

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Sizing and selection of high voltage equipment, Large Frequency converters, AC/ DC UPS systems etc.
  • Development of specifications and philosophies
  • Power Systems Studies (ETAP or equivalent).
  • Specification of 110kV GIS switchgear and shunt reactors
  • Interface with Client and Grid Company.
  • Technical assurance

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

This role will be working in the Oil & Gas sector across a range of Pre-FEED and FEED projects, so a good varied knowledge of Oil & Gas standards and projects would be highly desirable.

Chartered Status would be highly desirable.
