Position Overview

The client plays a critical role in supporting Defence by managing and delivering the infrastructure required for Armed Forces operations. Under its transformation programme, the client is committed to providing a better estate, better services, and better business solutions for Defence.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager will manage assigned work packages, leveraging the NEC4 form of contract, and work collaboratively with engineering and project controls teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Engineering design and construction experience.
  • NEC4 ECC & PSC Experience (minimum 3 years).
  • Project management experience (minimum 3 years in a regulated industry, preferably nuclear).
  • Full lifecycle project delivery experience (business case approval, design, execution, and handover).
  • Proven expertise in change control and risk management.
  • HND in a related engineering, construction, or project management discipline.
  • Ability to work in Glasgow three days per week with occasional site visits
  • Active SC clearance or eligibility to obtain it.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • NEC4 ECC Accredited Project Manager.
  • APM Registered Project Professional.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Degree in engineering, construction, or project management.
  • Chartered status in a related field.
  • CEMAR experience.
  • Experience in nuclear infrastructure projects.

Qualifications & Training

Essential

  • Active SC Clearance.
  • Technical or project management qualifications.

Desirable

  • Degree-level education.
  • APM PMQ or higher qualifications.
